I was sick with a horrible ear infection the day I saw this show but it was SUCH an amazing tour: all of New Found Glory & 2 of Dashboard Confessional acoustic at the Ottobar. So great.
Funny thing about this video…you’ll hear a little reference about sweat dripping from the ceiling at a previous show (when NFG was plugged in) and how that shouldn’t happen because it was December and freezing in the venue. Yet sure enough, by the end of the night it was so hot in that packed little bar that there was “sweat” dripping from the ceilings and it completely coated the floors.
This blog is more from my crafty stuff and it hasn’t been updated in forever! But I hope to go back to it soon. :)

Spiced Apple Wine
Day 21 — A recipe
1 bottle of apple wine
half a bottle of Cranberry juice (Cranberry juice cocktail is ok)
1 orange
5-10 cloves
5 cinnamon sticks
Mix the wine and the cranberry juice in a small crock pot. Cut the orange in half, stick the cloves in the peel of the orange (they should go right in, I promise), add them to the mixture Add the cinnamon sticks
Heat until warm.
Serve and enjoy :)

I like to free-hand draw and embroider. I made this for Candace last year just cuz I was inspired :) It’s on a tote bag.

I like to take photographs. Some say I’m pretty good at it. I shall call this a talent. :)

Day 17 — An art piece (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.)
Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. I once made a mosaic of this painting in a college art class using little tiny squares I cut out of dozens of magazines. I still have it somewhere. I might night to photograph it and post it one day…
Day 16 — A song that makes you cry (or nearly)
Every time without fail. I walked down the aisle to this song. My college friend Jordana sang it. I should have known better, I cried so hard.
Day 15 — A fanfic
HAHAHAHA, I didn’t see this on the list until just now. Too funny.
I went with something that shouldn’t really be considered too crazy. I know they make fanfic for everything and everyone but I just discovered General Hospital fanfic and you know how I feel about that show, especially Dante & Lulu so here’s Taking Chances; a fanfic about fictional characters :)
Day 14 — A non-fictional book
I love this book. It was written (co-written) by the brother of my favorite brothers. Sure I know a little too much about the brothers Gallagher but it was a damn good read.
